I know, I know. It's been a while. Dr. Small Talk has been busy, so busy that she has not been able to impart any wisdom about winter weather patterns or comment on our infallible means of forecasting the onset of spring. There is an abundance of more trivial topics to cover, of course, ranging from The Donald's spat with Pope Francis to the uproar at Wheaton about the true nature (and identity) of God. I'll get there. I promise.

But for those of you who just can't wait, Dr. Small Talk has been very busy writing about religious violence, religious freedom, and the social contract for the lovely folks over at The Revealer. You can check it out by clicking here.

And for anyone who finds reading actual words far too taxing, you might also be interested in Dr. Small Talk's podcast debut on The Podcast for Social Research. Tune in to listen to my Brooklyn Institute colleagues and I drinking wine (mmmm wine) and talking about the concept of radicalism - history, etymology, politics - touching on everything from Southern Reconstruction to the Sanders campaign, Islamic modernism and very loud music.
